Pre-Separation Transition Counseling

FFSC Norfolk is offering a virtual Pre-Separation Transition Counseling class. This three-hour training is mandatory for transitioning service members who are voluntarily or involuntarily separated. Topics include: special entitlements and benefits associated by Federal or DoD programs, information on service member's individual transition plan during and after separation, retirement, or release from active duty. 

To register, please contact FFSC Norfolk at 757-444-2102 or email tapquotas@navy.mil to notify us of your choice of event(s), specific time(s) and the date you want to schedule. This class is provided via Microsoft Teams and takes place from 8 to 11 a.m.

Once you are registered, you will receive an invitation in your email for each class. Classes do not have to be completed consecutively. These live virtual classes will provide you credit for DoD transition day equivalent to JKO TGPS.
