NAVSTA Norfolk

Saturday, May 4. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m.

  • This concert is open to anyone with base access and escorted guests
  • Concessions will be available on site
  • Cash and credit cards sales offered (ATM will be available)
  • Chairs are authorized, but will be restricted near the stage
  • Smoking in designated areas only
  • NO outside food and beverage permitted
  • Special Needs viewing area is available (for wheelchair bound; seating not included)
  • No pets authorized; only designated service animals permitted
  • Gates 2, 3A, 4 & 5 will be operational for entry and exit (subject to change; please check social media and webpage for updates)
  • All bags subject to search

Prohibited Items Include: 

  • Pop-Up/Shade Tents
  • Ice Chests or Coolers
  • Remote Control Aircraft, Drones, Balloons (Flight Safety Issue)
  • All weapons, regardless of permit, including firearms, knives (including pocket knives and multi-tools), and all other items that our Security Forces deem dangerous. This rule applies to off-duty law enforcement. Any confiscated items will not be returned. 
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Drugs, including Marijuana
  • CBD/THC Vape Pens
  • Glass Containers
  • Bicycles, Roller Skates, Roller Blades, or Skateboards


Parking is free and we utilize large areas and parking lots throughout the base. Upon arrival, please follow the direction of our Security team and the will guide you to parking. If you required handicap or special needs parking, please display your handicap placard prominently and you'll be directed to the appropriate parking lot. 

This initiative aims to offer service members and their families a recreational and morale-boosting platform, fostering participant readiness and resiliance while acknowledging and honoring their service and sacrifices. Operation MWR is dedicated to building vibrant communities, enhancing resiliency, and supporting fun across all installations.
