NS Norfolk - Parks & Picnic Areas

Need the perfect spot for a picnic or a cookout? Navy MWR Community Recreations Picnic and Park facilities include playgrounds, barbecue grills, ample parking, sand volleyball courts, restrooms, playing fields, horseshoe pits, picnic tables and more. MWR has the perfect picnic area for your next function. Open to Active Duty, Retirees, NAF or DoD civilians and sponsored guests.

• Breezy Point Park
• Salt Marsh Park

Breezy Point Park is available by reservation. Both facilities offer facilities for picnics, softball, volleyball and horseshoes. Salt Marsh Park has facilities for picnics, volleyball and nature observation. Use of Salt Marsh Park is on a first-come, first-serve basis, seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
