Dam Neck - Beach

Dam Neck Beach will not be lifeguarded after August 10th and will remain unmanned for the remainder of the season. A reminder that there is no swimming permitted without lifeguards on duty.

The beach at Dam Neck is three miles long and includes the North beach, surfing beach, South beach, watersport’s beach and fishing and dog beach. The South beach is the only area that has lifeguards on duty and where swimming is permitted when the beaches are open. Parking and entry are free.    

Beach Rules: 

  • Swimming is prohibited without a lifeguard on duty
  • Pets much be on a leash 
  • Clean up after yourself and your pet 
  • Water sports (surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking) is only permitted outside of the lifeguard stands
  • Fishing is permitted only on Fishing Beach, located at walkover 7 (see map for details)
